Michael Peek is a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mike’s education includes an Associate of Applied Science: Associate Degree Nursing from El Centro College, Dallas, Texas, December 11, 1997, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas, December 19, 2015, and a Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri, May 3, 2019.

Mike works as a Registered Nurse but does not necessarily write about nursing. Mike writes about theology. Theology includes the doctrinal studies of the Christian faith, the interpretation of the biblical text, the history of the church and the practice of being a Christian. (Erickson, 2013)

April, 2003, Mike read a book called: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren (2002). After reading that book, Mike committed to reading the Bible from beginning to end. However, Mike could not put the Bible down and continued to read the Bible daily thereafter. It was on December 27, 2009, that Mike made a decision to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Mike would later come to understand what happened to him.

Mike was chosen by the Father God before the foundation of the earth, justified through the sin sacrifice of Jesus Christ and made new by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:3-14) Thereafter, Mike had a desire to share his faith in Christ Jesus; therefore, on June, 19, 2010, Mike wrote his first blog post: Jesus the Fulfillment of God’s Law and has been writing since that day.

Mike was born on May 4, 1968, to Richard and Carole Peek. Mike has two siblings with families of their own. Mike was married to his wife Darlene, June 30, 1990. Mike and Darlene were blessed with two children: a son named Daniel, born July 13, 1989, whom Mike adopted and a daughter named Bethany, born July 20, 1993. Mike works at the patient’s bedside in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Christus Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital in Tyler, Texas. Mike and Darlene fellowship at Sylvania Church, a reformed Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas.
