In April of 2003, Michael (Mike) Peek read a book called: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren (2002). After reading that book, Mike committed to reading the Bible from beginning to end. However, Mike could not put the Bible down and continued to read the Bible daily thereafter. It was on the morning of December 27, 2009, that Mike repented of his sins and put his faith in Jesus Christ.

Mike was chosen by the Father God before the foundation of the earth, justified through the sin sacrifice of Jesus Christ and made new by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:3-14) Thereafter, Mike had a desire to share his faith in Jesus Christ; therefore, on June 19, 2010, Mike wrote his first blog post: Jesus the Fulfillment of God’s Law and has been writing since that day.

Mike works at the patient’s bedside in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Christus Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital in Tyler, Texas. Mike and his wife Darlene fellowship at Sylvania Church, a reformed Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. Mike’s education includes a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The University of Texas at Arlington.
